In normal times ... very nice. With outside seating ... Service ok too. Unfortunately there was no cake today, have to close tomorrow. Ate waffles ... I can only recommend ... very tasty. Will definitely go there again

We went to the restaurant for the family breakfast and I can only recommend it, very good implementation during "Corona times". We would love to come back.

Delicious breakfast and nice staff. I also made lunch a long time ago, it was also really delicious.

Despite the language barrier (thank you laptop translation software). we were well received and we ate very well .. we will be back with pleasure on our next visit ..

Staff a bit brisk, ambience good, but the quality of the buffet deteriorates every year. Edit: thanks for the answer, but no. To explain: I remember your breakfast better. Bacon was very salty this time, scrambled eggs tasted like these scrambled eggs from the Tetra pack. And orange juice that tasted like orange juice nectar. Or so it seemed to us. Staff: was nice, but brisk. By that I mean that as a guest you clearly felt the stress of the staff and felt a bit "not welcome" as a result. Only the bare essentials were spoken, a thank you on our part and the farewell was answered with a turn away and a hasty run away. Therefore only the 3+ in the evaluation ... Kind regards

Everything was fine, what bothered me a little are the drink prices. But otherwise, we liked it a lot.

We only had a cocktail outside and that was a good thing. When we visited the toilets, we would have lost our appetite for more food. The floor is totally dirty and glued, the container for the paper towels has overflowed and all the rubbish has been spread over the floor. And this in the Corona period, when you should pay more attention to hygiene. We know ALEX from other cities where it was clean and hygienic. We were very disappointed with ALEX in Saarbrücken

Tasty burgers but food took about 45 min to arrive. Burger was sooo oily somehow! (Chicken piccata burger)

SERVICE VERY NICE, BUT WE WAIT 75 MINUTES ON A BREAKFAST PLATE. AND THE EGGS WERE COLD TOO. I RECOMMEND TO AVOID THIS STORE

Have had coffee there once was delicious 2 coffee ordered. Service was nice. I can't say anything about the food yet, but I'll give it a try. Ambience was nice too. Could entertain myself comfortably and yes ALEX can recommend it.

The staff is just disgusting with french People... Twice we had the impression to be undesirable. But the food is ok and for a good price. If you are german, english or chinese, just try, french people go elsewhere

I enjoyed the food less than I expected. The pumpkin soup was on the sour side, the superfood salad was too sweet for my taste, the mozzarella salad seemed to contain more onions than tomatoes. The freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious though! Servers were helpful and friendly but food took some time to arrive probably because they were very busy. They wouldn't serve us tap water so we had to buy eco-unfriendly bottled water.

It’s good if you are not sure what you want and would suggest something in the spot as it offers so much variety. I like the brunch a lot. Drinks are good too,

Friendly place

Really nice service, great atmosphere and well made dishes and drinks. It's a very bright space that is comfortable for just having a read with some delicious chai coffee (so delicious), and once you get hungry, you can choose from a variety of dishes. The price is also very balanced. The servings are pretty big and very reasonably priced. Will definitely go again!

Always a good experience!!! Thai, Burger, Pasta, Breakfast... beer, wine, driks, coffe, hot chocolate... for me the most ecletic bar/restaurant/cafe I've seen, and all I've tried was worth it. If you are in Saarbrücken, Alex is a must go.
